Introducing...the Copycat Queen!!

Hello!  I'm Stevie - mother, wife, handwriting teacher...and want to be crafter/ DIY'er.  I have another blog, Wheelbarrow Manor, where I talk a lot about my family, my faith, religious topics and politics.  I  decided to separate these blogs because I know sometimes my religious and political beliefs rub people the wrong way - that's the nature of religious and political differences.  I felt like these were two different types of blogs and that it would be better to keep them separate.  Plus, I've been writing on Wheelbarrow Manor for a while and I am ready for a change - but not quite ready to let that blog go either.  So we'll see how it goes.

So why do I say I'm a a want-to-be crafter/DIY'er?  And why am I the copycat queen?  Well, I'm relatively new to crafting and Do It Yourself...and, in my opinion, I'm not that great at it...yet.  I'm finding that the more I do, the better I become.  The more I try, the more I learn.  I'm not super artistic, I do not have a design background, or even a long history of doing crafty stuff.  And for now, I'm a big copy cat.  For the most part, I find things I like - mostly through other blogs and Pinterest - and copy them.  I might change something here or there to make it my own - but for the most part, I'm a big copy cat.

So, I'm here to represent all of us want to be's...or trying to be's...and copycat queens.  I'll show you my successes, my mess ups, and the ways that I made things my own.  Hope you'll follow along with me and share your experiences as well.
